Fifteen minutes ago, I and my friends were stranded in a nasty and dark part of the road that were lined with queer trees. The vehicle, a “top-down”, that we were using has ran out of gas. Because we watched too much horror movies, basically, we started to imagine some unthinkably creepy and unimaginably scary creature to vault out from a corner and leap onto us. We were funnily scared. But of course, that didn’t happen. Our attentions were caught by the breathtaking panorama above us instead. We began to marvel at the ripe and haloed moon that was majestically hovering in the night sky dotted with thousand silver stars; and we have even seen a shooting star. We couldn’t help ourselves not to smile and sigh with pleasure.
Tonight, we have encountered a circumstance/problem on our way. But because of that, we were able to see something that has long been there. It was left unseen, yet it was worth to be seen.
God would sometimes give us a trial. But let us all remember that it will lead us to discover in ourselves that we could do something we never thought we could; that it will enable us to see the real beauty and meaning of life that take some trials and problems for them to be seen and discovered.
Good night and may the Lord be with us always!
