I solemnly swear I’m up to no good.
Okay. Scratch that. I’m back from Hogwarts so long now.
This post is just like me saying “I can’t think of anything to post”. I have spent a very long time, my spare time, at the library writing. And my time was grievously wasted. I have willed the jumbled thought in my head to still so I can pick some to pass from my head, to my arms, to the tip of the pen, and finally onto the gawking and mocking paper. I write, only to find my pen scratching the words inadvertently. Yes, this monster called Writers Block was attacking my messed up brain. Again.
Well, anyway, what I would do today is to tell you what I am up to this week. If you are not interested, I suggest you flee now. If you are interested, I suggest that you also flee because what I have here are not interesting, mind you. I don’t want you swearing at me.
As you all know, I am currently in my internship on becoming a (lazy) teacher. Today, we had discussed the story The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain. It went well, although there were still those haughty students at the back who were clearly showing a great deal of disinterest in my class. But when I warned them in a singsongy voice that I would love to, and was looking forward on seeing them at the detention office, aww I found out they could be very participative. Well I guess I would use that warning always. Hmm. Tomorrow, my topic is Sentence Structure. And I guess this would go on for the whole week for I prepared a gazillion of activities so that this new knowledge would sink in their heads, stay there and never resurface again. I mean, never went astray.
I am also currently reading Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird. I had been dying to read this Pulitzer Prize winner book, but with the tug-of-war between leisure and busyness in my life right now, I forgot it. Okay, maybe I am not really that obsessed with this book, but still. Thanks to a lovely friend for giving me a copy of this book yesterday. I really did give him a big wet kiss.
This same friend also gave me yesterday an awesome sketch pad. But no pencil. Urgh! >.< Haha. It has been too long since the last time I made use of my not so impressive skill in sketching that I felt afraid God would take it away from me. (Check this out –> What do I miss doing?) So when I went home at night, I immediately utilized my new sketch pad to find out what. And… Tada! It’s an epic fail. There really is a monster named Artists Block also. I sketch, only to find my agitated hand tearing the page off and crumpling it and throwing it onto the bin, and missed. Gosh, I’m awful.
But I will try and try and try. This week, hopefully, I will post in here my sketches and a review of the abovementioned book. *crossfingers* That, if those two monsters leave me. Which, of course, I know they would because you’re gonna pray for me, my dear lovely friends, right? Hehe
What about you there? What are you up to? Lemme know by leaving a comment.
Have a wonderful week everyone! ^____^ mua.
