I really try my best to read books as many as I can. I am always in constant hunger for books. But with the unexpected circumstances hurdling themselves in front of me, my time allotted for reading-to-feel-heaven is always taken away.
Aside from my other hobbies, bookhunting, as I love to call it, is one of the favorite things I do on weekends.
With a sideline of boyhunting. Killing two birds with one stone. Sometimes, I go home carrying loads of books. Sometimes, I go home with nothing.
Here are the things I consider on buying a book.
- Author. Of course, most of us consider this as the main criterion in choosing a book. Those authors that have gained a reputation, or those I just love, I will continue loving them by patronizing their books. And they never really fail me.
- Price. Those awesome books are usually the one with a very high price. When I have spare money, I would go straight to National BookStore. But if I am tight in budget, I would go to Booksale. In the latter, you can find real treasure sometimes if you have the patience to drown yourself in the sea of books, and of cheapest price you could ever imagine.
- Cover. Because sometimes I judge the
unpopularbooks by its cover, I would buy those that have a fanciful cover design. For authors who aren’t making a name yet in the writing/publishing business, they should make sure to have their books got a beautiful cover design.
